I just recently got my license and this podcast is perfect for me. Ive noticed its really hard for new millennial hams who were not grandfathered into the hobby to understand all aspects of the hobby. well this podcast is our saving grace. Fo Time has done an awesome job at breaking stuff down and presenting new ideas to young hams. My only complaint is that this podcast keeps making me want to buy stuff. – 73

This is the best Ham podcast out there! I know because I am a podcast junkie and I am always on the look out for new ones. I started listening to Cale about two months ago and I was so hooked I downloaded all of his podcasts on my phone and now I’m caught up!! Love the format, love the host and how he seems like an old friend immediately, great guests and awesome information. You keep podcasting Cale and I’ll keep listening! 73!
Episode 43 is tremendous!

Well done gentlemen! That is the most information delivered about microcontroller and embedded Linux systems related to ham radio, and other applications, that I have heard in any podcast, ever. This is great information to enable anyone, whether an EE, or just an interested consumer to build a project based on either of these closely related technologies. KJ6VU and KF7IJZ are really well informed and articulate on all things ham. Fantastic!
Great podcast

The only podcast on ham radio that gives good advice and info and is not boring. It was a relief to find it.
My fave!

This is my favorite ham radio show. Cale is an host who knows how to contribute to the discussion, and also stay out of the way of his guests. Some hosts prattle on, seemingly in love with their own voices. That doesn’t happen with Fo Time. No cheese, no whine. Informative, well-paced, helpful, down-to-earth. I recommend it to ham buddies when we chat in person, or in QSOs.
Fun & Informative

Really like this podcast. Very professional sounding, informative, and fun. Great cross-section of guests. Each week is a different topic but always fascinating.

I am new to ham radio and am interested in all aspects of the hobby. This is a great podcast, Cale admits that he isn’t the expert but he has great guests who are. I’m glad he posts links and information on his website and in the show notes that allow me to go back and look up the information that was discussed. I started listening to a few of the newer episodes and then I’ve gone back to episode one and I’m listening to them all. Keep up the good work Cale! I’ve got a lot to learn!
Excellent Podcast

Very well put together podcast. Informative and entertaining but keeps the topics from going over your head. I’m new to Ham Radio but I’ve been interested in it for more than 20 years. Thanks to this show and the way they present their content my curiosity has been sparked again and I’m studying to test later this month. Thanks for all your hard work putting this podcast together. Job well done.
Very Informative

I recommend this podcast for those that are new to amature radio and are looking to understand their new hooby. Kale does not come off as a know it all but is able to articulate what he knows and finds those that have the knowledge in the subjects where he is interested in learnig. I listened to one of the episodes at randome and was hooked. Go ahead and listen to all the episodes from the begining, you won’t be dissapointed. 73 – nh6td
Extremely Relevant to my Interests!!!!!
in iTunes by A. Pickett – KF5KLN from USA on May 19, 2015
As a Ham Radio Operator in my mid 30’s, I am extremely interested in portable and depolyable types of options. My go box was built several years ago based on ideas taken from Cale’s and other boxes on a well known forum. However, until this podcast, I was unable to find any Ham radio podcast’s with content that was able to hold my interests. I am currrently studying for general and trying to fill in the gaps surrounding my limited understanding of HF and the multitude of other options out there that are available to us. Cale has already filled in a lot of holes in my knowledge and the content continues to be VERY relevant for me. Keep up the good work and I’m glad to have finally found some content from an operator whose mindset appears to be foundationally the same as my own. There is so much more one could say, but the ratings speak for themselves. This podcast is AWESOME!!
